VIRTUAL - Sinéad O'Connor | Rememberings

Irish singer-songwriter Sinéad O’Connor rose to fame in 1987 through her debut album, The Lion and the Cobra, and in 1990 with her iconic cover of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.” She has won a Grammy Award, two Billboard Music Awards, and three MTV Video Music Awards, among other achievements.

A contributor to film soundtracks, other artists’ works, and charity concerts, O’Connor is as noted for her craft as she is for her outspoken statements about organized religion, women’s issues, and child abuse. In Rememberings, O’Connor recalls her difficult childhood in Dublin, her first introduction to music, and her experiences handling international controversies inspired by her activism.
