Many of us are aware that the education that a child gets from school is not enough to equip him with all the resources he needs to succeed in life. This is not a criticism of our schools but simply highlights the fact that it has become even tougher to find one’s place in the world today.
As a way of filling the gap between what we learn in school and our preparedness to become functioning members of society, governments usually hold free vocational courses and a host of sports programs. The Kamloops Ambassador Society of British Columbia is an organization committed to supplementing education as well as encouraging volunteerism and service.
Their annual father-daughter ball is happening on March 04 and beyond the glimmer and glitter of it is actually a toast to supporting well-rounded youth.
An annual ball for princesses aged 0-99 to enjoy with their father or father figure! Funds raised from the ball support the Kamloops Ambassador Society’s mandate to supplement education and to encourage volunteerism and service. Our continuing goal is to promote and empower future leaders in our community. Guests of the ball are treated to a magical evening including dinner, cupcakes, dancing, banner and tiara presentation, entertainment, prizes and more. This event is suitable for dads and daughters of all ages. Formal attire is requested and tickets must be purchased in advance.
