There’s a popular song that goes, “In New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there’s nothin’ you can’t do.” This includes fundraising for people who are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a lifelong condition affecting the brain and spinal cord. People with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) have different symptoms ranging from vision loss, muscle stiffness and spasms, paralysis, and many more. With proper treatment and rehabilitation, they can live well and even be functioning members of society. These treatments are costly though and so New Yorkers, it is up to you to heed their call for assistance.
On October 22, Bike MS, the largest charity cycling series in the country that envisions a world free of MS, will be having Bike MS: New York City 2023. Proceeds from this event will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society whose mission is “to cure MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives.”
