Formally established in the 1940s, art therapy has been proven by numerous studies to be effective in alleviating pain symptoms, reducing stress and anxiety, and addressing the emotional needs of people with trauma and depression. Through painting, drawing, sculpturing, and carving, people can express their deepest thoughts and feelings in a safe and creative way. When coupled with an art therapist, this becomes a cathartic experience that helps in self-healing and self-discovery.
Art & Creativity for Healing, a California-based, non-profit organization, has been holding free art therapy workshops to help homeless families, senior citizens, teens, women survivors, and military families. Their mission is “to support emotional healing through art and creative expression for those living in pain, grief, fear or stress.” To help them continue doing this, they’ll be having their annual Palette of Colors Fundraising Dinner & Auction on April 27, 2024 at the Bell Tower Center, California. Expect great food, awesome music, an exciting live and silent auction, and awesome company to fill the night.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 27th, 2024, for our Palette of Colors Dinner & Auction. Dive into an evening of art, music, and unique auction items, all championing Art & Creativity for Healing’s mission.
Located in the hub of the beautiful City of Rancho Santa Margarita, the Bell Tower Center has breathtaking views of Central Park and the Saddleback Mountains. It will make for a wonderful evening.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event benefit Art4Healing® classes and workshops. Our mission, supporting emotional healing through art & creative expression for those living in pain, fear, grief or stress depends on your support!
There’s a line in the movie Black Hawk Down that goes, “It’s what you do right now that makes a difference.” Get your tickets to the fundraising event here now and help make a person’s life change for the better.
