Did you know that in 2019, chronic respiratory diseases were the third leading cause of death worldwide? How about the fact that currently, tuberculosis is one of the most common lethal infectious diseases globally? Or that lung cancer, regarded as one of the deadliest cancers, is responsible for around 1.8 million deaths worldwide? It is for this reason that the American Lung Association was formed. Founded 120 years ago, they are a “leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease, through research, education and advocacy.”
On April 13, 2024, help raise vital funds for the American Lung Association by joining Fight For Air Climb – New Jersey. Climb the 780 steps of the Red Bull Arena and receive an official Fight For Air Climb t-shirt, along with the sense of accomplishment that you were able to help a noble cause.

Why We Need You in the Fight
In March of 2020, the American Lung Association launched a $25 million initiative to end COVID-19 and defend against future respiratory virus pandemics. At the same time, we’re continuing our advocacy work to support clean air and redoubling our long-term commitments to lifesaving research.
Over the last 12 years, the Climbers have raised more than $71 million to support the mission of the American Lung Association.
Join us. Because Every Step Counts and every step makes a difference.
