Imagine what it’s like to stroll around 50 acres of breathtaking gardens with yellow, pink, violet, orange, red, and white flowers blooming wherever you look. Think of how cool it must be to walk under huge trees with shrubs surrounding them. Imagine how enthralling it must be to see exotic and unusual plants from all over the world housed in an 11,000 square-foot classical domed conservatory. This is exactly what you will experience when you join the 2024 Annual Celebration of the Children’s Home Society of Virginia (CHSVA) on April 28 at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. There will be delectable munchies and mimosas available, as well as a silent auction and raffle, to further brighten everyone’s spirits. Funds raised from this event will go to helping CHSVA achieve their mission which is “to build strong, permanent families and lifelong relationships for Virginia’s at-risk children and youth.”

Take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant gardens, savor delightful munchies and mimosas, and cherish moments with both familiar and new friends. We will gather at Bloemendaal house for a brief program, offering opportunities to hear from several families whose lives have been positively impacted by CHSVA. We deeply value the adoption stories shared by many, creating lifelong connections that bind us together as the CHSVA family. We will also have a silent auction and raffle featuring some exceptional experiences and fine spirits.
This annual celebration and fundraising event play a vital role in ensuring that the children, youth, and families we serve receive the essential support they need. Your support allows us to nurture strong families across generations. Together, we can empower at-risk children in Virginia to thrive and flourish into exceptional individuals.
