Have you read The Weekenders, The Book of Lost Names, The Summer of Songbirds, and The Secret Book of Flora Lea? What if, for one evening, you could meet the authors of these books, share a cocktail with them, and hear them talk about reading, friendship, and more? That’s exactly what will happen at Friends & Fiction Live: The Cocktail Party Edition. On November 6 get to meet bestselling authors Mary Kay Andrews, Kristin Harmel, Kristy Woodson Harvey and Patti Callahan Henry at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando. Listen to them talk over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres about various topics from reading, writing, friendship, and the power of books. Funds raised from this event will go to the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation (FCSF), an organization that’s close to Patti and Kristin’s hearts as cancer survivors. FCSF’s mission is to “provide non-medical, financial assistance to adults undergoing cancer treatment in Florida to allow them to focus on fighting cancer.”

Featuring FOUR New York Times bestselling authors in conversation
On November 6, join bestselling authors Mary Kay Andrews, Kristin Harmel, Kristy Woodson Harvey and Patti Callahan Henry for a very special evening benefiting the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation. Mingle with the beloved authors over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at downtown Orlando’s beautiful Grand Bohemian Hotel, and then join them for an intimate conversation about reading, friendship, community, and the power of books to change our world. The event will conclude with book sales and an autograph session. Collectively, the four authors have published more than 80 novels that have been translated into more than 35 languages, and together, they run the weekly Friends & Fiction show, which streams on Facebook and YouTube. Both Patti Callahan Henry and Kristin Harmel are cancer survivors who understand how vital it is to support patients during some of the most difficult times in their lives, and all four authors are pleased to partner with FCSF to raise money for such an important cause.
