Have you ever watched those strongman shows and wondered if you could ever lift those big tires and weights? Have you ever thought about how it is humanly possible to pull a vehicle? If you’re based in Greenville, South Carolina, you wouldn’t have to wonder anymore as you’ll get the chance to pull not a car, not a bus, but a plane! On October 26, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolina’s Red Shoe Society will be having its sixth annual Red Shoe Society Plane Pull. Happening at the Greenville Downtown Airport, you and three of your loved ones, will compete against other teams to pull a plane. To keep everyone’s spirits up, there will be warm breakfast for the participants and electrifying live music. More than a test of strength, this event is a test of character as proceeds raised will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas whose mission is “to keep families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need.”
Date: October 26, 2024
Time: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Bring your families and friends to this unique event! There will be a DJ, refreshments, and access to the Runway Café & Runway Children’s Park. So, ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts and return your tray tables to their upright position, because we’re ready to take off and #PullForTheKids!
There’s a song from Disney’s Hercules entitled Go the Distance. Its chorus goes, “I’ll be there someday, I can go the distance. I will find my way if I can be strong. I know every mile would be worth my while. When I go the distance, I’ll be right where I belong.” On October 26, go the extra mile for families with sick children who really need assistance.
