Christmas in July Event Supports Animal Rescue in Wayne County

A fun summer fundraiser helps the Wayne County Humane Society provide care and shelter for animals in need.

Animals need care all year—not just during emergencies. Shelters rely on community support to provide food, medical care, and safe spaces for animals waiting for a home.

The Wayne County Humane Society works to rescue, protect, and rehome animals in their community. Their Christmas in July event helps raise the funds that keep these efforts going.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Wayne County Fairgrounds Events Center. It’s a family-friendly evening with food trucks, games, drinks, and both silent and live auctions—all designed to bring the community together for a good cause.
