Many people who stutter face misunderstanding and stigma. This can affect confidence, school, work, and daily communication. Therapy and support can help people speak with more ease and confidence.
American Institute for Stuttering provides therapy and support for people who stutter. They help children and adults build communication skills and confidence through evidence-based treatment and community support. To support this mission, they are hosting a special anniversary event.
The 20th Annual Freeing Voices, Changing Lives Gala will take place on September 16, 2026 at 6:30 PM. The evening will bring together supporters, staff, and clients to share stories and celebrate progress. The event will also honor Steven Tananbaum and feature reflections from the AIS community. This gala helps fund speech therapy and support programs. It gives more people access to treatment that improves communication and quality of life.
Join here to support speech therapy access and help people find their voice.
