International Civil Rights Center & Museum works to preserve civil rights history and educate future generations. The 2026 Gala: Standing Up for Democracy and Defending Civil and Human Rights will take place on July 18, 2026 at the Joseph F. Koury Convention Center. This annual event commemorates the creative and strategic struggle to ensure that America upholds its constitutional promises and obligations of full and equal citizenship – and personhood.
