Giving children guidance, encouragement, and positive relationships can help them grow and reach their full potential.

Myer Community Fund supports people in need by raising funds for charities and programs that create positive change across Australia. Through partnerships with community organizations, the fund helps provide support for children, families, and vulnerable communities.

To help continue this work, the Precious Metal Gala 2026 will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Crown Melbourne. This black-tie fundraising event will bring guests together for an evening of celebration while supporting important causes, including The Pyjama Foundation’s Love of Learning program, which helps children and young people in foster care build learning skills, confidence, and life skills. Funds raised from the gala will support children and families across Australia by helping provide programs that create lasting opportunities and stronger futures.

Precious Metal Gala 2026
Myer Community Fund’s annual Precious Metal Gala is the most anticipated Black Tie fundraising event on the calendar. By invitation only.

Over the past 19 years, the event has raised over $16 million to help people in need.

This year Myer Community Fund is proud to partner with The Pyjama Foundation and over 58 charities.

Through The Pyjama Foundation Love of Learning program, monies raised help support children and young people living in foster care with learning, life skills and confidence. The program empowers foster children, who often face educational and emotional challenges, by providing consistency, encouragement and opportunities to reach their full potential. By improving their learning skills, The Pyjama Foundation is making a positive, lifelong impact.
