Sleepwalking may not be for the faint-hearted, but walking to help children get warm, cozy beds? That’s for the warm-hearted. This September 26, join the community for Steps for Sleep, a scenic short walk around Boom Island in Minneapolis, starting in DeLaSalle High School. There’s more to this walk than just getting your steps in! Enjoy fun activities, explore the wellness fair, and meet like-minded members of the community. Can’t make it in person? Don’t worry, you can join virtually! Funds raised will support My Very Own Bed’s mission to “provide new beds and linens to children of families who have recently secured stable housing.”
