Access to education and community support can create opportunities for people to build more secure and independent futures. Charitable organisations that work with local communities can help provide resources, education, and practical assistance where they are needed most.
Katoke Trust supports community development and education initiatives connected to Katoke Lutheran Seminary School (KLSS) in Tanzania. Through the generosity of supporters, the organisation helps fund projects and opportunities designed to improve lives within the Katoke community.
The Katoke Trust Annual Fundraising Event 2026 will take place on Friday, 6 November 2026, bringing supporters together for an evening of friendship, food, fundraising, and updates from Katoke.
Guests will hear first-hand updates from KLSS in Tanzania, highlighting projects and initiatives made possible through previous fundraising and community support. The evening will also provide several opportunities to contribute directly to Katoke’s work. Guests can purchase beautifully crafted items, participate in the popular silent auction, and support the organisation through student sponsorships.
A key part of the event will be hearing how supporters’ generosity is contributing to positive changes at Katoke. These updates provide an opportunity for guests to learn more about the people and projects benefiting from the organisation’s work. Alongside the fundraising activities, the event will offer an evening of good food, friendship, fellowship, and community, bringing supporters together around a shared commitment to Katoke.
The annual gathering is more than a fundraising event—it is an opportunity to connect with the Katoke community, learn about the impact of ongoing support, and contribute to future initiatives in Tanzania.
Join here on November 6, 2026, and help support Katoke Trust’s ongoing work with the Katoke community in Tanzania.
