On October 5th at 8 a.m., Teams of 20 will compete every 15 minutes for the fastest time and lowest combined weight it take to pull a Boeing 737 Aircraft 12 feet on the tarmac of Newark Airport.

Teams also compete for the hgihest fundraiser. The Plane Pull is part of the airport’s annual Family Day which is hosted by United Airlines and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Sponsored by the New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run, proceeds from the Plane Pull benefit Special Olympics New Jersey, serving thousands of New Jersey children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
