A great performer and pop diva artist Lady Gaga auctioned her teacup and saucer to help young Japanese artists. Lady Gagas teacup reached the final price of $75,137.50 at auction in Japan. With more than 1,300 bids, the weeklong auction finished last week with a top offer of 6,011,000. Yahoo Japan managed the charity event.
Lady Gaga told reporters at the time that she would auction the cup, marked with her lipstick and bearing the Japanese message “We pray for Japan” along with the star’s autograph. Lady Gagas hope for these young Japanese artists who want to study in the US will possibly another way for Japan continuous support to the artist.
