State fans will be able to meet and receive autographs from players on Saturday at the team’s annual “Meet the Pack Day” at Carter-Finley Stadium. The event will run from 2-4 p.m. and admission is free. N.C. State is partnering with Communities in Schools of Wake County to collect school supplies for area at-risk students. TENNESSEE: Tennessee athletics officials knew the Volunteers weren’t immune from the sluggish economy when it came to ticket sales. But with some new marketing strategies Tennessee has nearly reached its goal of selling 71,000 season tickets for 2009. As of Thursday, the athletics department had sold about 70,100. The rest of Tennessee’s tickets are either managed by the University of Tennessee alumni association or sold as student tickets or offered to visiting teams to sell.
