Festival-goers head for home Tickets for the 2010 V Festival at Weston Park went on sale today – just hours after the end of
this year’s event. The big clean-up began at the venue yesterday afternoon after the last revellers departed, before tickets for next year’s event went on sale at 9am today. And organisers of the two-day rock festival said people wanting to get their tickets early could get them at this year’s prices. Next year will be the 15th V Festival and a limited amount of tickets have gone on sale for a week, before the rest of the tickets are released next year. Simon Moran, festival director, said: “We really want to give fans the chance to buy tickets for next year’s festival at this year’s prices, as it means they can be first in the queue for next year’s festival and save a few quid in the process. “V Festival has a great history of brilliant line-ups and next year will be no exception.â€
Next year’s V Festival will be on August 21 and 22.
