star of ABC’s The Bachelorette, has signed on to host a charity fashion event this September.
The Anita Kaufmann Foundation’s upcoming fashion show fundraiser, The Purple Event, will be held at the Sony Plaza Atrium, New York City, September 10. Bachelorette stars will be joined by Ana Ortiz and Mark Indelicato of hit series Ugly Betty Alex McCord of Real Housewives of NYC Devin Harris of the New Jersey Nets and the fashion designer who took the top prize on last season of Project Runway, Leanne Marshall. The show features purple fashions from over 60 designers including MaxMara, Nicole Miller, Ellie Tahari, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, and Nanette Lepore. The event will also feature a performance by recording artist Elliott Yamin. The Anita Kaufmann Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to educating the public about epilepsy and seizures. The Purple Event fashion show fundraiser will benefit the Fifth Grade Epilepsy Education Program.
