A Canton firefighter died during a charity basketball event as the Canton Fire Department played against the police department.
James Hall, 40, died of an apparent heart attack during play. Fire and EMS attempted to revive him. Captain Hall was the firefighter of the year for Canton in 2003. The Ohio firefighter will be sorely missed by his family, friends and fellow firefighters. Our deepest condolences go out to the Hall family, friends and the firefighters in Canton, Ohio.
