Associated Press – May 16, 2009 11:03 PM ET VIENNA (AP) – Former President Bill Clinton and “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria Parker were
among the celebrities who attended a flamboyant Austrian charity gala Saturday. The event was dedicated to raising money for people with HIV and AIDS. Other celebs spotted at the Life Ball in Vienna were singer Katy Perry, actress Fran Drescher, former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and model Amber Valletta. The annual bash held each year draws thousands of revelers in quirky and kinky costumes. The party kicked off with an extravagant outdoor opening ceremony that combined music and dance segments with pleas to stay focused on fighting the devastating disease.
Clinton, in a brief speech, urged people not to forget the less fortunate.
