The tribute to the actress, more recently known for her role in Last of the Summer Wine, will bring together many of her friends and fans for an evening of entertainment and reminiscence on the career of the BAFTA and Olivier award winning star. Sir Cliff Richard, Billy Boyle, Jess Conrad, Jill Martin, Johnnie Casson, Linda Lusardi, Robin Cousins, Sam Kane, Zoe Tyler, Liz Smith and Joanna Lumley will all contribute to the gala, on Sunday, May 31. Proceeds from the sale of tickets will go to charities close to Bryan’s heart, including the Alzheimer’s Society and the Variety Club’s children’s charity.
