Jennifer Lopez has decided to speak out about her baby girl Emme’s medical scare.
The singer-actress and her husband Marc Anthony had to take their daughter to hospital, after discovering a lump on her head when she was only three weeks old. “We both got very nervous, very very nervous, and I just remember my heart sinking to my feet,” she recalled at a benefit for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), according to E! Online. “I looked at [Marc] and I said, ‘You know if anything happens, I’m not going to be OK, you know that, right'” The couple immediately rushed her to CHLA, where she underwent some tests. “Luckily, in the end, she turned out fine,” added the mother-of-two. After the scare, Jennifer, who previewed a song she wrote specially for her twins at the charity event, decided to join forces with the CHLA to create the Maribel Foundation to help provide paediatric medical care to those less fortunate.
