Sandhya Shetty 11th May 2009 EVERY year motor enthusiasts and car buffs show off their cars for charity at the Ryanie for Tyres
Show and Shine and the fifth annual event on Saturday was no different. Ryanie for Tyres owner Brendan Ryan said last year the event raised $20,000 and this year he hoped to raise the same amount. “There are not many shows like this in Warwick where people can display their cars,†Mr Ryan said. “Charity is a good thing and we like helping out. “I am grateful for all the support we received because it is not just me doing this – it is a lot of support from other people and my staff to make this event happen.†Mr Ryan said it was a successful day with 60 cars and 20 bikes taking part.
“We have tried to make it a family event. There is no entry fee and we had a jumping castle, face painting and balloons for the kids.
