CHARITY bosses are urging ladies who lunch to make fundraising their favourite F Word.
The Scottish Spina Bifida Association is holding the Gordon Ramsay Appeal fundraising ladies lunch at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow, on Sunday, May 31. The glittering annual event forms part of their Gordon Ramsay Appeal where the celebrity chef asks everyone to make fundraising a top priority. Guest speaker at this year’s lunch is Joyce Falconer who plays Roisin Henderson in the BBC Scotland soap River City. Organisers hope to top last year’s fundraising total of £16,000. Women attending twill be treated to a champagne reception, a two-course lunch, goody bags, silent art auction and a disco. Auction items including a meal for two in Ramsay’s Maze Restaurant with overnight stay in the London Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square a spa day for four a tour of the Scottish Parlia-ment with lunch in the member’s area and signed books by the top chef. Ramsay, patron of The Scottish Spina Bifida Association, said: “Spina bifida and hydrocephalus affect the lives of morew than 3000 children, young people and adults in Scotland each year.”
