What’s not to like about an evening of food samples from many of Naperville’s best restaurants, a lot of different wine and beer to
sample, and some excellent entertainment For the last six years, Cuisine for a Cause, a benefit for Naperville CARES, has been one of the multitudinous fundraisers that grace our city over the course of the year. We’ve been to it for half or more of those years and last Saturday’s event was certainly the best we’ve ever attended. For one thing, it was in a new location this year. Tellabs gave Naperville CARES the use of its global headquarters on Diehl Road and its spacious first floor was perfect for the event. The idea behind Cuisine for a Cause is to wander from food booth to food both, grazing on items provided by the participating restaurants.
If I have a regret it is that with more than 30 participating restaurants, sampling something from each one is an impossibility.
