Jeanna Callahan • Reader Submitted • April 23, 2009 The Killuminati Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity created to help dogs in suffering
due to a life threatening illness. Families can apply for financial assistance to help get the necessary medical treatment for their injured or ill dog. We also support local rescues by helping dogs find a second chance through adoption with their forever home. The Killuminati Foundation has been formed to empower individuals with the opportunity to create change and inspire lives. We provide a crucial service to families in Greene and Christian county – many are having no other alternative but to euthanize their dog due to financial struggles in these economic times. The KF is here to help families and dogs live a long happy life together. We are the only charity of our kind anywhere around. In fact, I’ve only found one other charity that offers medical assistance to any families/dogs but they only support labradors. We fill a much needed void in our community – especially in this time of economic trials where many people cannot afford the medical treatment their dogs need – many dogs are being euthanized, shot, or dumped due to lack of support and care. The community needs to know about the Killuminati Foundation and that we are a resource! The Pink Slip Party on May 12th (a job networking event that puts companies and job seekers together) will be collecting donations at the door for the Killuminati Foundation. Great feel good story all around! Connecting job seekers with companies that are hiring – and helping a great cause with the Killuminati Foundation! Picutred is Killuminati (called Nati for short) who was a rescue that passed away just after her 1st birthday. I couldn’t save her but each dog we help is a tribute to her memory. (Jeanna Callahan)
