Weekend events around Tulare County offer a little something for

From a Renaissance festival to a rodeo, a charity walk to a New Year’s festival, there are events to suit just about every taste and interest. And, if the forecasts are right, the weather is going to cooperate. With the heat wave behind us, the highs are expected to be in the mid- to lower 70s throughout the weekend. Area events include: This year’s event dubbed “Bunches of Bulls” opens tonight with bull riding, the queen’s coronation, live music provided by Sierra Storm and dancing. On Saturday, enjoy the free Rodeo Parade in downtown Springville at 2 p.m. Events start at the rodeo grounds at 5 p.m. The rodeo begins at 6 p.m.
Sunday’s events start at noon with the Packing Contest and Silver Dollar Dig, with the rodeo starting at 2 p.m.
