Dancers Keep Moving To Raise Money For Cancer Charity 2009: Young Dancers

Dancers keep moving to raise money for cancer charity

Young dancers from the Penelope Lambert School of Dance, in Binegar, spent a whole day doing what they do best &ndash dancing &ndash to
raise money for a children’s cancer charity. Fourteen girls aged between 13 and 17 took part in the 24-hour dancing event to raise money for Clic Sargent after Ember Curtis, a pupil at the dance school, was diagnosed with leukaemia. Dance teacher Sandra Davey said: “The girls did brilliantly. “Every part of the event was organised by them. “Penelope and myself just popped down to see how they were getting on. “Ember paid a visit to Binegar Village Hall, where the event was taking place, to see the dancers in action. “Having Ember visit reminded the girls why they were raising the money and inspired them to keep dancing through the night.
“We are extremely proud of their hard work and generosity.”
