Eason shows off her “new do.” She said she might donate to Locks of Love in the future because, “It’s cool to help out
kids who are really sick.” Salon Allure stylists Chris Worden, Cheri Hobbs, Tisha Ford, Marty Nicholson and salon owner Katy Gawell, donated their day-off and their services to the event, giving away free hair cuts to those who donated 10-inches or more of hair. “I think the day went really well,” Gawell said. “The girls and I were talking and we’ve decided to make this an annual event we had such a great time.” Gawell said they also gave any tip money they received to the charity as well. “I think all of (the stylists) have had a client who at some point, has lost their hair from cancer or other medical problems,” said Worden. “We’re in the business of making people feel great when they step out the door. If wigs from Locks of Love can do that, of course we’ll help to make that happen.” To see more photos from the Locks of Love event, see our photo gallery page.
