Despite the freezing weather outside, the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra spread
a little love and warmth through the audience, at the recent ‘Prelude to St. Valentine’s Day’ concert at Folly Farm, Begelly. The evening was organised by Pembroke Rotary Club, and supported by Chevron refinery, with the ever-popular Cardiff orchestra, featuring classical guitar soloist Bridget Marmikides, producing a sell-out event. As a result, more than £5,500 was raised, with the profits going to Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild and the Pembroke Rotary Club.
