The Florida Aquarium where a check for $77,340 was presented by Pepin Distributing and Splitsville on Friday, Feb. 13 in front of the Coral Reef panoramic window. “Many companies pulled out of this years big game due to tight budgets and the economy, said Bill Gieseking director of marketing for Pepin Distributing Company. Anheuser-Busch and Pepin Distributing still went forward with Bud Bowl for the Tampa Bay community and we are thrilled that our donation will have a lasting impact on our community for years to come.”
Each year Bud Bowl chooses a charity to receive the proceeds from the beer sales of Bud and Bud Light during its two-day street festival and this year Guy Revelle owner of Splitsville suggested The Florida Aquarium.
