Peter Leitch, aka the mad butcher, will donate the proceeds from his biographical book What a Ride Mate! The Life and Times of the Mad Butcher to charity.
The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and Allergy New Zealand will benefit from the book written by sports journalist and Peter’s close friend Phil Gifford and launched by PM Helen Clark.
The book is about the tough, rough as guts heart of gold great man who built his empire from the ground up, disadvantaged by dyslexia.
