A charity auction featuring items from 3 Doors Down, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Nickelback (pictured) is being held on eBay, to benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation.
In 1975, a teenage boy suffering from leukemia asked his father to raise a million dollars for the life saving research that made it possible for him to reach his nineteenth birthday two years beyond his original prognosis.
The boy, T.J. Martell, died later that year, but his legacy still lives on thanks to the foundation started by his father, music industry executive Tony Martell. To date, the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research has raised more than $225 million dollars.
Autographed Fender Stratocaster guitars from Universal Music Group artists 3 Doors Down, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Nickelback are up for auction on eBay to benefit the charity, T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research. Bidding is open until March 2nd, 2009 at 5:00pm PST. Fans can visit universalmusicstore.com to place bids.
