“There is nothing which has yet been contributed by man, by which so much happiness is produced as a good tavern or inn”, said the 18th-century writer Samuel Johnson paying homage to the joys of drinking beer.

Many of his counterparts in the 21st century couldn’t agree more. Beer is among the most popular beverages in the world along with water and coffee. In the US alone, beer festivals seem to be drawing bigger and bigger crowds with the easing of travel restrictions.

The Riverside Rotary Club of Jacksonville has been tapping into the potential of beer fests to raise funds in support of charities for almost a decade now. On February 26, 2023 from 1-4 pm ET, they are inviting all beer aficionados to the Ninth Annual Riverside Craft Beer Festival at Riverside Arts Market. More than a hundred craft beers from various breweries will be served while the band Ramona + The Riot plays on.

All proceeds will benefit Community PedsCare as well as other charitable causes of the Riverside Rotary Foundation.
