The unfortunate reality is not every child has positive role models in his or her life. Suicide rates, drug use, and teen pregnancy are at all-time highs, but Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to turn this around.

BBBS of NEPA make it their mission to connect kids with local mentors to help set them up for success. 

Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Their biggest fundraiser of the year is Bowl for Kids’ Sake which takes place every spring. The theme for this year’s event is The ‘80s. Teams of 3-6 bowlers can register to bowl in April until the 29th at 11:00 am at Chacko’s Family Bowling Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
