How does a live band, an auction, a raffle, and a full course dinner, all happening in one night, sound to you? Not only that, you’ll also get to meet and interact with other animal enthusiasts and more importantly, support the programs of the Seattle Animal Shelter. Sounds exciting and fulfilling right? These are what you should expect, and more, at the 12th Furevermore Auction and Gala happening on October 21 at Fremont Studios. Organized by the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, this event aims to raise funds for the various animal rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming programs that the shelter does. Though the foundation, a total of 750 shelter animals were helped last year and are now living better lives free from pain and abuse. This year, with your support, this number will double.

Last year, nearly 300 attendees helped to raise more than $235,000 to fund the shelter’s services, including a full-time foster care coordinator position to increase the number of dogs, cats, and critters that are placed in foster homes and provide direct support to foster parents and animals.
