2023 Night of Hope Gala

Shining a Light on Lupus Research

Lupus, a complex autoimmune disease, affects millions worldwide, causing the immune system to attack the body’s own tissues and organs. The condition’s unpredictable nature leads to a range of symptoms, from joint pain to kidney problems, often impacting patients’ daily lives. Recognizing the importance of addressing this issue is critical, as it calls for increased research, awareness, and support to improve the quality of life for those living with lupus and, ultimately, to seek a cure for this enigmatic and debilitating disease.

In the complex landscape of lupus, organizations like the Lupus Foundation of America have emerged as beacons of hope. With unwavering dedication, they tirelessly work to provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by lupus, while also funding research aimed at unraveling the mysteries of this challenging autoimmune disease.

As we grapple with the complexities of lupus, it’s important to highlight an upcoming event that combines advocacy with celebration. The Lupus Foundation of America is thrilled to announce the “2023 Night of Hope Gala,” a significant evening set to take place on November 3rd. This gala promises a night of inspiration, awards, and entertainment, all dedicated to raising funds and awareness for lupus research and support initiatives.

The Night of Hope Gala raises funds for the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America and creates awareness and hope for the 55,000 Georgians living with lupus. The Chapter’s programs and resources are dedicated to the multi-cultural community across Georgia. This inspiring patient-centered celebration on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 42West includes cocktail hour, and dinner, auctions, and a mission call. Sponsorship of the Night of Hope Gala offers a unique opportunity for companies and individuals to reach local philanthropists and corporations with benefits including publicity and exposure to individuals and companies.

For many living with lupus, the greatest challenge is a lack of understanding; patients often feel they are the only ones who “don’t look sick.” The Chapter is a lifeline. We are here to listen and to make sure everyone with lupus receives answers and support. Ninety percent of every dollar donated funds our programs, resources and advocacy here in Georgia. We also support the National LFA efforts funding and advocating for lupus research. Together, we work towards a brighter future for all living with lupus.
