Did you know that in the US, around 6.5 million cats and dogs are surrendered to animal shelters every year? Out of this number, only 3.2 million shelter animals get adopted, while approximately 2.7 million are euthanized because the shelters have reached their full capacity. This is the sad reality that animal welfare organizations, like Second Chance Animal Services, are trying to address with their low-cost spay & neuter services, affordable community veterinary hospitals, rehoming programs, pet food pantry, and community outreach programs.

On June 22, Second Chance Animal Services will be celebrating their 25^th year anniversary by throwing a pawsome fundraising event. Happening at Klem’s/Timberyard Brewing Company block, Second Chance’s 25th Anniversary Block Party will have lots of fun activities from exciting raffles, delicious barbecue, to interesting pet trivia, and even an adorable mobile adoption event!

The event will include Klem’s who is celebrating their 75th Anniversary and Timberyard Brewing Company who just celebrated their 5th Anniversary for a block party extravaganza that’ll have tails wagging from miles around.
