2:00pm Sunday 23rd August 2009 Over 700,000 people in the UK have dementia – more than half have Alzheimer’s disease.
Alzheimer’s disease is a disease of the brain that causes memory loss, personality changes and physical disability. Dementia affects one in 14 people over the age of 65 and one in six over the age of 80. Memory Walk is the Alzheimer’s Society’s flagship fundraising event and is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and vital funds for the work of the Society. Share:
