Kapiolani Park was abuzz on Saturday with the Bank Of Hawaii annual walk for charity making over $100G in fundraising.
Over a thousand employees and their families walked two miles to raise the sum. The event benefits three local charities, chosen for their support of families in need during the financial crisis: the Hawaii chapter of The Red Cross, the Family Promise of Hawaii and the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands division of the Salvation Army.
The $100G from the annual fundraising walk will be distributed evenly to each charity to help the needy.
