The Armstrong Peugeot Festival of Cycling is on this weekend.
The festival has number of events on, and has attracted Olympians the likes of Hayden Roulston, Marc Ryan, Westley Gough, Jesse Sergent, Sam Bewley, Pete Latham, Ali Shanks, Cath Cheatley and Paula Tesoriero.
‘The Armstrong Peugeot City Criterium brings high class cycling to the general public. The racing is thrilling for the crowds, who take in the action while sipping on their favourite beverage in the many cafes. This event is an absolute winner for cycling,’ Hayden Godfrey (pictured) says about the event.
The City Criterium will be a day for riders of all experience, held together with the Lion Foundation National Criterium Championships.
As well as races at the City Criterium there will be a Penny Farthing demonstration for the kids and a celebrity tandem ride where people can bid, in aid of CureKids NZ, to race with celebrities.
Entries are open until December 5 for The Armstrong Peugeot Festival of Cycling, on December 6 and 7.
