The Black Eyed Peas have announced they’ll play a free charity concert for fans in Central Park, New York.
The concert will feature a special text-to-donate fundraising effort with funds going to the Robin Hood Foundation to fight poverty, and aid education initiatives through The Black Eyed Peas’ Peapod Academies.
We are thrilled to follow in the footsteps of icons such as Simon & Garfunkel and Diana Ross by performing a free concert for our fans in Central Park. But more importantly, we are performing to benefit Robin Hoods efforts to help those living in poverty in New York City and to help disadvantaged youth in New York with the launch of our Peapod Academy.
Tickets will be released 11 May for The Black Eyed Peas free charity concert on 9 June.
