Charity auction at Pound Green and Button Oak

club memberships and rounds of golf will be up for grabs at an auction to raise cash for charity. The Auction of Promises event is in aid of Self Help Africa, a charity which helps African families to grow enough food to feed themselves and earn a living. It will be held at Pound Green and Button Oak Village Hall, on Saturday, September 12, where people can also bid for gardening, ironing, decorating and wine.
Trish Page, who has organised the event with her husband, Harry, said: “There will be something for everyone and every chance of picking up a bargain.â€
