CHARLESTON, W.Va (WSAZ) — Scott and Laura Miller own 3 popular businesses along Capitol Street in Charleston so there’s no denying that they are
invested in the community. Now, they’re taking their involvement a step further. When they heard that the annual Capitol Street Funeral Parade was canceled along with Regatta, they stepped into action. A pre-parade party filled with a Mardi Gras theme will be held at their popular downtown restaurantbar “Sam’s”. Then the parade will get underway.
The Millers are inviting everyone to get dressed up in costume and take part in this tried and true Charleston tradition which is a huge draw every Labor Day weekend. They’re also hoping to raise money for charity during the event.
