A musical edition of Personalities in Brief hits a high note with news that the legendary sounds of TLC are set to be heard
for the first time in seven years thanks to Justin Timberlake. One of the premier music groups of the 1990s, TLC owned the airwaves with hits like “Creep,” “No Scrubs” and the massive “Waterfalls.” Then, tragedy struck in 2002 with the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in a car accident at the peak of group’s popularity. Titled “Justin Timberlake and Friends,” for the benefit concert, which is the highlight of a weeklong golf tournament hosted by Timberlake in Las Vegas from October 11th through 18th. The 2009 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open marks the second year of a five-year partnership with Shriners to host the golf tournament and benefit concert.
