Are you a candle enthusiast? Do you collect decorative, taper, or scented candles? What kind of wax do you prefer, paraffin, soy, or beeswax? Whatever your choice is, you have the chance to make your very own candle this June 17 at Craft for Paws. Presented by The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) at the Candle Bar DSM, you’ll get to craft your own candle while sipping on a cocktail and snuggling with cute, adoptable kittens. Proceeds raised will go to ARL who advocates for animal welfare through their various programs such as pet adoption, humane education, spay/neuter and animal cruelty intervention.

Join the ARL at Candle Bar DSM for a creative evening benefiting animals in need! Create and customize your own one-of-a kind candle while enjoying a fun, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by fellow animal lovers.

As your candle sets, sip on a complimentary Pink Poodle strawberry lemonade and champagne cocktail (available to participants 21+) or strawberry lemonade and snuggle with adorable, adoptable kittens.
