The 30th death anniversary of John Belushi is celebrated through a special charity performance of The Blues Brothers Revue by Dan Aykroydand Belushis widow, Judith.
At the age of 33, John Belushisdied from drug overdose. His death will be commemorated as the legendary actor and comedian. Aykroyd and Belushi are well-known for their performances as Elwood and Joliet Jake Blues in The Blues Brothers, which has origins from a skit on Saturday Night Live.
The Blues Brothers Revue was created by Aykroyd, and Judith Belushi. They have toured worldwide to sold-out locations. It integrates hilarity and hit songs from the original Blues Brothers concerts, which celebrates the blues tradition.
The one-night event can be viewed on Facebook via Milyonis Social Live technology. For access, one can log on to the Animal House and Blues Brothers fan pages. It only costs $5 and if you are lucky to be at a House of Blues location, you might watch the performance live.
The income for this event will be donated in memory of Belushi to theInternational House of Blues Foundation, which benefits youth music and arts programs.
