The 2007 Glastonbury Festival has made a donation of 74 000 to banana farmers in Latin America.
This year’s festival, headlined by Van Morrison and Corinne Bailey Rae, had already raised a rough 2 million for Oxfam, WaterAid and Greenpeace and now the charity Banana Link has received a donation through the Glastonbury Festival’s good causes fund.
