Special Olympics Oklahoma provides sports training, competitions, and leadership opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. Their programs help athletes develop skills, build relationships, and reach their full potential. To support this mission, they are hosting a special annual celebration.
The Gold Medal Gala 2026 will take place on September 10, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Guests will enjoy cocktails, a plated dinner, dessert, auctions, and a program featuring the presentation of the Barry Switzer Award of Excellence. This event helps fund sports, health, and inclusion programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities across Oklahoma.
